Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
None of us have COVID-19 symptoms however for the greater good we’re following official guidelines.
Current UK government guidelines on closing certain businesses and venues in England due to COVID-19 state:
“All businesses and venues outlined in the table below must not open to the public: failure to follow the law relating to these closures can lead to the individual responsible for the business being issued a prohibition notice, a fixed penalty notice or prosecution.”
“All retail, other than those exempt, must close their premises to members of the public. However, staff may be present to make deliveries or provide services in response to orders such as those through telephone, online, or mail.”
Our retail business is not one of those exempt, so we must close our premises to members of the public.
Therefore we cannot receive any physical shop visits whatsoever until further notice.
When the government allows opening of some non-essential retail this will only be where it is safe to do so and subject to being able to adhere to new COVID-19 Secure guidelines.
For various good reasons, we cannot offer a click and collect service.
Government agencies confirm it’s okay to send and receive parcels.
