Naviter Oudie Paragliding Tips
The Oudie for paragliding is a brilliant all-in-one flight instrument, specially designed for freeflight. Although it can be used straight out of the box, to get the most out of the Oudie it’s worthwhile reading the manual and learning how it works, just like other instruments or software. The following Oudie paragliding tips, compiled by the Flybubble crew, are meant as a supplement to this.
First, a general tip which applies to using any new device: If you get stuck then we highly recommend finding a local pilot who knows how use the Oudie and ask them if they would be willing to help you. It’s always easier to see how to do things right by having it demonstrated first hand! Since many pilots of all levels are using Oudies nowadays, including most of the world’s top pilots, it should be fairly easy to find someone who can show you how to use yours!
NB: Make sure you only read info and download firmware for Oudie for paragliding (Oudie 3, Oudie 3+, Oudie 4 Basic, Oudie 4). Don’t read info or download firmware for Oudie for sailplanes (Oudie, Oudie 2, Oudie IGC).
