Further to the safety notice issued back in August 2018, Woody Valley issued another similar safety notice about the reserve elastics on the X-Rated7 harness on 30.03.2020. All X-Rated7 owners must read and act on this safety notice before flying. The check and fix are simple and easy.
The elastic loops securing the reserve pins gradually tend to overextend, eventually compromising the reserve deployment of the XR7. There's a risk of one elastic loop looping over the other. A simple fix is recommended: make sure the elastics are no longer than 8 cm. Download the full safety notice (pdf).
The X-Rated 7 is Woody Valley's top-of-the-range comp harness. It has 'All the Mod Cons' with many amazing features packed into a surprisingly low weight. The XR7 is very well put together, you can tell just by looking at it that the build quality is exceptional.
