Cross-Country Flying Reviews

A great follow-up to Thermal Flying on 01/10/2015
  • Star Rating
I found Cross-Country Flying a very interesting read, packed with great insights and invaluable information. I enjoyed reading it and got a lot out of it - even though much of the book is rather Alps-centric, and I do most of my flying elsewhere.

For keen XC pilots, hungry for further knowledge and looking to progress on to the next stages of flying bigger distances, more consistently, Cross-Country Flying is a great resource.

More advanced and technical than Burki's best-selling Thermal Flying book, I highly recommend Cross-Country Flying for budding XC flyers that have already absorbed the info in books like Thermal Flying and Fifty Ways to Fly Better and are ready to take their XC knowledge and flying to the next level.
