That’s why the Soar 2 has nose guard patches. Simple and easy, for a couple of tens of grams more only, the nose guard patches allow the use of a light fabric on the leading edge while making the latter more resistant than ever. In fact, the Dominico DOKDO-10DSF which offers excellent porosity over time is protected by a high abrasion resistant cloth along the leading edge rods.
