Large 40mm diameter super strong nitrile rubber O-rings. They can be used to hold the reserve bridle in the correct position on maillons, ensuring maximum strength of the system is maintained, or to retain connectors, maillons and karabiners in place on harness/webbing loops, preventing unwanted movement/rotation.
The reserve bridles need to be held in position on the maillon, to prevent them slipping during a reserve throw which may cause unwanted cross-loading of the maillon.
