Technical information

• Sleeves made with a technical fabric that reduces aerodynamic drag and optimises airflow direction. Our R&D team has tested different materials in the wind tunnel and found that the chosen option is the best for reducing drag.
• Wind tunnel tests, at speeds from 18 km/h to 90 km/h in different flying positions, showed that the chosen technical fabric offers an aerodynamic improvement of up to 25%compared to the current fabric used in Niviuk R-Series Speedarms.

Guidelines for selecting the best size

1. Prioritize arm measurements: This garment is designed for the sleeves to fit perfectly around the arm, minimizing wrinkles and maximizing performance.
2. If you are between two sizes, prioritize the following for an optimal sleeve fit:

• Choose the larger size: If you plan to wear it over a jacket or thick layers.
• Choose the smaller size: If you don’t intend to wear it over other garments, which is ideal for maximizing the aerodynamic features of the design.

3. Use a flexible measuring tape for all measurements.
4. It is recommended to have someone else take your measurements.
5. All measurements are in centimeters.

Measurement instructions

A. FOREARM LENGTH

Measure from the elbow crease (cubital fossa) to the wrist. Keep your arm relaxed and slightly bent to accurately locate the starting point.

B. BICEP CIRCUMFERENCE

Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your bicep. Keep your arm relaxed and extended alongside your body.

C. ARM LENGTH

Measure from the armpit to the wrist.

D. CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE

Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your chest (usually at nipple level). Ensure the tape is straight and parallel to the ground.

E. WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE

Wrap the measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist (natural waistline). If in doubt, lean slightly to one side; the fold that forms is the waistline.

F. TORSO LENGTH

Measure from the base of the neck (where the Adam’s apple is) to the hips. Maintain an upright posture with feet together and shoulders relaxed.
