Shipping & Delivery
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout the World. For an up to date list of the countries we deliver to click here.
Note: Some items, like those with batteries, can’t be shipped to certain countries (e.g., Germany). Restrictions appear at checkout.
How much is delivery?
- UK: £3.95 or FREE for orders over £50.
- International: Calculated at checkout based on order value and address.
When will I receive my order?
Shipping Times
- In Stock Items: Orders are usually shipped within 1-2 UK business days after payment clears.
Backorders & Pre-orders
- Backorders and pre-orders are ordered and supplied ASAP. We'll contact you with an estimated delivery time, usually within a week.
- You can choose to wait, switch to another item (price difference payable/refundable), or cancel for a full/partial refund.
- In-stock items may ship first, with backordered items sent later, or we may wait to ship everything together.
Multiple Stock Locations
- Items from different stock locations will ship separately.
- You’ll receive separate tracking details for each shipment.
Delivery Service
- Most orders are shipped using tracked and signed-for services for reliability and proof of delivery.
- A shipment confirmation with tracking details will be sent to your email.
- Ensure someone is available to receive the parcel.
Urgent Delivery Requests
- For special or urgent delivery needs, contact us before ordering.
- Place orders early to allow for potential delays, especially if you have a deadline.

Our website shows real-time stock with icons and labels. Select options to see stock. Backorders and pre-orders will be supplied ASAP. Pre-order by Product Deposit or email us.

Shipping couriers
We ship using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, DHL, DPD, and other couriers. The choice depends on factors like value, weight, size, destination, and current circumstances (e.g., strikes or system issues).
Local import duties and taxes (customs fees)?
- Shipments Within the UK: Customs charges, including import duties and sales taxes, are included.
- Shipments Outside the UK: Customs charges are not included.
For non-UK shipments:
- Local customs may charge import duties and taxes upon arrival.
- You must pay these charges before delivery. Expect contact from your local carrier for payment.
- For details on customs regulations and taxes in your country, refer to your government’s official website. Use the SimplyDuty tool to estimate import duties and taxes.
- Note: By law, we must declare the full value of goods (excluding shipping) on packages sent outside the UK.
International Cancellations & Refused Shipments
- No Cancellations After Despatch: Once an order is in transit, it legally enters the international import process and cannot be cancelled.
- Refused Shipments: If you refuse a shipment to avoid customs fees, we can only refund the cost of goods once the item is returned to us.
- Mandatory Deductions: We must deduct the original shipping cost, the carrier return fee (e.g., DHL), and any destination duties and taxes billed to us by the authorities. These government charges are non-recoverable once an item has been processed at the border.
- Tip: We strongly recommend accepting the package. The deductions for return shipping and government taxes often exceed the cost of the duties themselves.
Important Notice for US Customers
Most orders entering the USA are now subject to import duties and taxes, regardless of value. These charges are assessed by U.S. Customs and collected by DHL; they are not included in your shipping fee.
Billing and shipping addresses?
Ensure your billing and shipping details are correct to avoid payment or delivery issues or order cancellations.
Use only alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9) to prevent issues with international systems.
Unexpected delays?
We aim for quick delivery, but unexpected delays can occur beyond our control. Once shipped, the courier and customs manage the order, and while we’ll help, our control is limited. Most orders arrive on time, but occasional delays or returns due to incorrect addresses may happen.
For Royal Mail, 1st Class delivery is not guaranteed next day, and items are not considered lost until 15 working days after the expected date.
If your UK order hasn't arrived within 3-4 days, contact us to investigate.
Orders
Prices and currencies?
All prices are in £ GBP. Use a currency converter for other currencies, there are free ones online e.g. Google.
Pricing and VAT?
- All prices include UK VAT (Value Added Tax) by default, as the website assumes UK shipping until a shipping address is provided.
- UK VAT Rule: VAT applies based on the shipping address, not the billing address or where you live.
Orders Sent Within the UK
UK VAT is charged on all orders shipped within the UK, as required by law.
Orders Sent Outside the UK
UK VAT is not applied to orders shipped outside the UK. The website removes VAT during checkout once a non-UK address is entered.
View Prices Without UK VAT
- In your basket: Use the 'Estimate Shipping and Tax' tool and select a non-UK country.
- In the checkout: Enter a non-UK shipping address.
- While browsing: Register an account with a non-UK shipping address.
Packaging?
We pack all orders carefully to protect them during transit.
To reduce waste and keep shipping costs down, we use recycled packaging materials when possible. If you prefer new packaging, let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?
Please consider your purchase carefully before checking out. As a small business, we are charged payment processing fees the moment an order is submitted. These fees are completely non-refundable to us, even if we cancel and refund your order immediately.
Because we cannot absorb these lost costs on every cancelled order, any cancellations requested after an order is placed may be subject to a deduction to cover those non-refundable merchant processing fees. We appreciate your mindfulness and thank you for supporting small businesses!
