Soft Links
Soft links are ultra-lightweight connectors designed for mountaineering or hike & fly, where every gram matters. They serve as alternatives to traditional metal maillons or karabiners and can also act as a backup in case of karabiner failure or if they're forgotten. Smaller soft links are often used as a lightweight connection between risers and lines, while others connect wing risers or reserve parachutes to the harness.
Flybubble note: Due to the splicing process, some thinning or kinking in soft links is normal and purely cosmetic—not a defect.
