The Advance Step-In Aid is a high-quality elasticated accessory designed for paragliding pod harnesses. It helps keep both speedbags and speed systems open and properly positioned, making it easier and faster to slip your feet in during take-off.

This simple yet effective aid is especially useful in challenging conditions, such as windy or turbulent launches, where quick and reliable entry into the speed system is essential for safety and performance.

How to attach & use it?

1. The looped end of the bungee cord is attached to the speedbag near the footplate.
2. Before takeoff push the knot on the elastic step-in aid under the lace of your left shoe/boot*.
3. After takeoff pull the speedbag forward with your left foot, and put your right foot inside.

Simple yet effective.

*If your footwear doesn't have laces, or the laces are covered by a flap then you you will need to check them for another way to connect the bungee cord/ball There is usually a way e.g. open the flap covering the laces slightly or some footwear have loops on the back, near the ankles.
