Most harnesses have integrated reserve containers, so the High Adventure Beamer 3 and Beamer 3 Light steerable reserves are set up for shoulder connection points as standard. If your harness doesn’t have an integrated reserve container or shoulder points, the reserve will need to be front-mounted, with the bridles connected to the main karabiners. In this case, a pair of bridle extensions is needed to position the steering handles at a safe and accessible height — without them, the handles will sit too low. The type of extension depends on the front container used.
This Beamer 3 Extension Kit for Gstar is specifically designed for use with the High Adventure Gstar Front Reserve Container. It includes extra metal rings which are required for this container setup. For front containers other than the Gstar, use the standard High Adventure Beamer 3 Extension Kit. Designed for Beamer 3, Beamer 3 Light and also compatible with Charly TARGETcross ST Light and DIAMONDcross ST Light steerable reserves.
