Micro Alti 2: still the world's smallest vario-altimeter

The Micro Alti 2 is still the world's smallest vario-altimeter, for wrist and riser mounting at just 37mm square! It has the lowest available power consumption for a vario-altimeter, giving over 60 hours of continuous use with a simple 3 button menu.
A completely new design with new sensors and firmware, the Micro Alti 2 gives incredible sensitivity and battery life, scrolling text, humidity, temperature and G-sensors, USB connectivity, clock and timers, loud audio vario and more! The display and battery are easily replaceable and there's even an FM radio in its unbreakable wristwatch sized case!
Altitude measurement can be down to 10cm over 6000 metres and its ultra sensitive variometer has up to 10mm/s resolution with a wide range of settings. It can display humidity, G-meter and temperature, and has a time clock, stopwatch and timers with battery backup and has USB connectivity.
In additon, the Micro Alti 2 now has an alphanumeric display with scrolling text menus, along with:
- Averager, QNE, QNH pressure and height settings
- Barometer and barometric trend display
- Weak lift thermal finder
- Triple tone system for sink, thermal and lift
- Unbreakable nylon case
- User replaceable battery and LCD screen
- Headphone socket for connection to an external piezo sounder for helmets, or it's FM radio
Mounting
The Micro Alti 2 can be mounted on your wrist, over a coat sleeve or on your risers, or it can be panel-mounted in sailplane gliders etc.
They supply a hook-and-loop fastener strap that can be cut down as required and adhesive hook-and-loop fastener pads that will stick to most surfaces and can be sewn onto clothing.
Additionally we supply a lanyard which should be fastened through the strap retainer on the rear of the Micro Alti 2 and slipped around your wrist or riser for extra security.
The strap retainer on the back of the Micro Alti 2 can be fixed horizontally or vertically or removed if the Micro Alti 2 is mounted onto a flat surface.
