• New nose guard patches on the leading edge: robustness is the key!
• Delivered with 12mm aramid risers as standard. Superlight Dyneema risers available as an option (-110g)
• Double-coated Dominico DOKDO-10DSF for top and bottom surfaces: durable Superlight construction
• Full chord Nitinol rods to not only save weight and increase robustness, but also to ensure compact folding

“Light but durable!” This is the phrase we hear the most in our hallways. And this is not just about the ability to pass a glider check. At AirDesign, we aim to make the performance last over time. And the Hero 2 makes no exception. The design and the solidity of the inner construction guarantee a wing flying well for long. So you can confidently fly a high-quality Hero 2 that will keep its performance over time. Because, yes, “What is essential is invisible to the eye”.

We are always looking for the best compromise between lightness and solidity. That’s why the Hero 2 has nose guard patches. Simple and easy, for a couple of tens of grams more only, the nose guard patches allow the use of a light fabric on the leading edge while making the latter more resistant than ever. In fact, the Dominico DOKDO-10DSF which offers excellent porosity over time is protected by a high abrasion resistant cloth along the leading edge rods. Quite clever, isn’t it?
