* Weights may vary up to 50gm per size due to slight variations in the manufacturing of the fabric used.

** This wing has passed the criteria required by the DGAC and has been load tested to the EN 926-1 standard. In addition to our own extensive testing, it has also been independently flight tested to the EN 926-2 standard with the trimmers set to the slow position. Releasing the trimmers, or flying outside of the EN certified weight range invalidates any EN flight certification. As delivered, the wing does not conform to the EN 926-2 standard due to the inclusion of the trimmer systems on the risers.

Colours

Standard colours: RUY/R, HIB/H, ITH/I

Custom colours: Choose your colours and email us the colour reference with your order. Include a screenshot if you can. Full payment required upfront to confirm your order after which it cannot be cancelled.

Important Colour Note: Ozone advises against choosing black as the main colour for paramotor wings. Black fabric is more vulnerable to UV exposure, which can lead to faster deterioration, increased porosity, and reduced fabric strength over time. This is less critical on standard fabrics (Dominico 30D), but a bigger concern on lightweight models. Choosing lighter colours can help extend the life of your wing.

Ozone production times

Ozone wings are made to order. Ozone gives their current approximate production time on their website in working days, for example: "The current production time is approximately 32 days from order to shipping". Add 1-3 weeks for shipping, and allow for unexpected delays. Some may claim shorter delivery times however we're unsure how they can supply faster than the manufacturer themselves can produce and ship! ;-)

Design

All of these refinements have improved flight characteristics and performance. The first thing you will notice is a more linear and direct response in the brakes and the resulting increase in agility and precision of handling. Top speed has also been increased, and glide performance improved throughout the accelerator range.

Comfort and progression

Above all else, the Kona 3 is easy to fly with intuitive, fun, progressive and precise feel through the brakes. It is highly compact, with perfectly coordinated roll and yaw for a sporty agile feel. Launching is a critical part of every flight, and Ozone has paid particular attention to the ground-handling characteristics of the Kona 3. It inflates smoothly, without overshooting in higher winds and zero wind conditions there is no tendency to hang back.
All of these factors provide you with the confidence to progress and have fun, whether flying under power or in free-flight mode.

Pilot

The Kona 3 is suitable for a wide range of pilots from talented beginners to the most experienced, it is ideal for those who fly between around 30-50 hours per year and enjoy free flying as much as powered flight. Owning dedicated wings for both disciplines is expensive, the Kona 3 offers the perfect balance in one package.

Power risers

The Kona PPG risers feature a smooth trim system for comfortable high speed cruising when flying under power and a foot operated accelerator system to reach top speeds and when free flying. The risers also feature tip steering system and adjustable brake pulleys so the height can be set to make it compatible with any type of power unit.
