Gin Gliders do not include the "tape" they refer to in the manual as a way to prevent rotation; this is just a suggestion, to give an idea. See below for more info and installation instructions.

Gin Soft Shackle: soft link

Compared to a metal maillon, the Gin Soft shackle is much lighter with equivalent breaking strength when new. It features a locking system to prevent slippage under load and is easy to undo without tools.

Below is a video with instructions of how to fit the Gin Soft Shackle. Gin Gliders recommends using ripstop sticky tape (not included) around the ends of the webbing to prevent rotation, however we aren't keen on using sticky tape so recommend using either a suitable neoprene cover, rubber bands and/or O-rings instead (see the Related Products tab).

Flybubble note:  Due to the manufacturing process of splicing one end of the line into the other, it's normal to see thinning and kinking in soft links. This is purely cosmetic and not a manufacturing error.
