These reserve bridles are suitable for tandem paragliding use. They are designed for connecting a tandem paragliding reserve parachute to a tandem paragliding pilot harness.

Connection

This Dyneema tandem paraglider reserve Y bridle has one loop stitched in at one end of it, for connecting the reserve bridle to the tandem emergency reserve parachute. This is usually done using a suitable Maillon Rapide maillon e.g. 8mm square, 8mm delta (triangular) or 7mm standard (oval)*.

The other end of this tandem reserve Y bridle has two loops stitched in to it. These are usually used for connecting the reserve bridle to the paraglider tandem spreader bars or harness shoulder attachment points. This is usually done using two suitable Maillon Rapide maillons e.g. 2 x 7mm square, 2 x 7mm delta (triangular) or 2 x 6mm standard (oval)*.

* Which shape maillons you use depends on the width of the material you are connecting to. This Dyneema tandem paraglider reserve Y bridle has narrow endings (< 15mm), so at least one end of the maillons used can be narrow.
