* Weight with optional extra ultra-light cord-style Dyneema risers. Standard Kevlar risers: add 200g.
* Flybubble note: Gin Gliders' weight specifications are based on the assumption that pilots will switch out the standard Kevlar risers for optional cord-style Dyneema risers. However, it is generally recommended for most pilots to stick with the standard risers due to their superior user-friendliness, pulleys, comfortable handles, durability, and dimensional stability, even if they weigh just 200g more.

Griffin: be bold
Gin's lightweight mini-paraglider, the Griffin offers fast, dynamic fun in a lightweight package. It's perfect for ridge and coastal soaring, classic hike 'n fly or para-alpinism. If you’re an experienced pilot, you’ll appreciate the Griffin’s combination of speedwing thrills and paraglider energy retention.
A versatile machine
The Griffin has an exceptionally wide certified weight range. Flown in the higher end of the weight range, the wing is truly fast and dynamic and is suitable only for experienced pilots. But flown in the low-end of the weight range, the dynamics are somewhat reduced and the wing is more accessible.
Light but not extreme
The Griffin is one of the lightest wings in its category, and at only 2.1kg easily fits in a 30-litre daysack! Despite the lightweight, the main and mid-lines are sheathed for ease of use and durability. Easy-to-handle 12mm Kevlar risers are standard (and generally recommended), and lightweight Dyneema riser and soft shackles are available as an optional extra (although the standard risers are generally recommended).
All-terrain action
Thanks to its compact size and short lines, the Griffin is easy to launch in tricky places and demanding conditions. It has the performance to glide out of tight spots and a good enough sink rate to thermal up when flown at reasonable wing-loadings. Wherever you fly, you will love the precision and general feel of its handling. The Griffin is a real toy, take it out to play!
Griffin D (more robust version)
Gin also offer a more robust version of the Griffin, the Griffin D.
