Wing-loading affects all paragliders' characteristics. You should choose the size to match your weight and flying style.
For relaxed soaring and thermalling choose a bigger size / lower wing loading; for more speed and dynamic handling go for a smaller size / higher wing loading.

KISS 2: Kiss the sky
KISS 2 comes ready to fly in paraglider (PG) mode with clean, simple risers and standard brakes and speed system. Switching to parakite (PK) mode is quick and straightforward, giving access to the full speed range through the brakes rather than a speed bar. Hands up in PK mode is equivalent to applying full speed bar. With its moderate top speed, the KISS 2 offers an accessible introduction to parakiting and expands your flying options in stronger winds, even with crampons or skis.
The KISS 2 comes with a lightweight roll-top packing bag and packs down into a neat compact package. It fits easily into a Scout rucksack leaving plenty of room for the rest of your alpine kit. You can slip it in your hand luggage for airline travel making it a great travel wing.
Certification note: EN/LTF certification applies only in PG mode. The load tests apply in both PG and PK configurations. Our test pilots have carried out collapse testing in PK mode, but because certification manoeuvres cannot be performed with parakite risers, the official EN/LTF certification applies only to paraglider mode.
Target
A light, safe and fun wing with a small pack size, the KISS 2 is made for hike-and-fly and mountain pilots. Its excellent passive safety, effortless launch and easy landing make it the go-to wing for hike-, climb-, ski- or run-and-fly adventures. Parakite risers extend the flyable window for experienced pilots, and offer an easy introduction to parakiting for newcomers to the discipline.
Designer's notes
The KISS 2's PG-PK risers let you switch between two flying styles in moments. In light conditions you can soar and thermal in conventional paraglider mode; if the wind increases, switch to PK mode and keep flying.
Tyr recently travelled with the 16m² in Iceland, carrying it in hand luggage with a lightweight harness. He said: “In light conditions I thermalled and soared in PG mode, and when it became windy I switched to PK mode. The KISS 2 allowed me to fly in conditions I would not have been able to with a normal paraglider."
The PK mode is designed to extend your flying opportunities. Flying in PK mode requires a different set of piloting reflexes from conventional paragliding. We recommend becoming familiar with the system gradually, starting in controlled conditions and allowing time to develop the appropriate responses. We recommend using PK mode primarily in smooth, predictable and laminar conditions.
The KISS 2 is exceptionally light and packable. We chose D10 fabric for its very low weight, but it needs to be treated with care. Avoid dragging the wing over rough surfaces or exposing it to unnecessary abrasion. Treat the KISS 2 with care and respect its lightweight construction, and it will give you many years of flying enjoyment.- Bruce Goldsmith
Technology
Easy Launch
Confidence starts on the ground. The lightweight sail rises cleanly and predictably, making technical mountain launches straightforward and getting you airborne in just a few steps.
Predictable slow-speed behaviour
The KISS 2 is highly resistant to stalling, with brake pressure increasing progressively as you approach the stall point. It provides plenty of warning and recovers cleanly and predictably as soon as you ease off the brakes.
PK Mode
The KISS 2's unique convertible risers switch between paraglider (PG) and parakite (PK) modes in two simple steps. In PK mode, you control the entire speed range with your hands, giving the wing a distinctly different feel and making it ideal when a speed bar is impractical such as flying in skis or crampons, or when higher speed is required immediately after take-off in strong winds. The Kiss 2 is primarily a light weight mini wing. It provides an easy introduction to parakite-style flying but it is not a ‘full on’ parakite, and should not be compared directly with dedicated parakites. It is a paraglider with extended possibilities.
Versatile
From relaxed hike-and-fly adventures, thermalling and soaring to dynamic coastal flying in PK mode, the KISS 2 adapts to wherever your flying takes you. One wing, multiple personalities!
Chord Cut Billow (CCB)
Chord Cut Billow technology has been developed to improve the form friction, glider stability and overall performance of our paragliders. Two seams run chord-wise across the top panels of the leading edge. They accommodate the panel ballooning that happens when the wing is inflated. Without CCB, up to five centimetres of excess material is created on the sides of an inflated flat panel when it bends over a wing profile. This results in wrinkles. Chord Cut Billow technology removes this excess material and the 3D panel has fewer ripples and improved rib profile shape and stability.
Ultra-light and packable
Built from lightweight Dominico D10 fabric with Edelrid Magix Pro-Dry water-resistant unsheathed lines, the KISS 2 weighs just 2kg in the 16 m² size. It packs into a tiny roll-top bag that easily fits inside a small rucksack – or even your hand luggage.
Excellent passive safety
A safe and accessible mountain wing, the KISS 2 delivers reassuring passive safety across exceptionally wide certified weight ranges. The 19m² is EN-A from 55-95kg, while the 16m² is EN-A from 50-80kg, then EN-B to 90kg.
Gentle Landing
The KISS 2 rounds out beautifully for smooth, forgiving landings – in PG and PK modes. Its excellent flare makes every touchdown feel easy and controlled.
