EASINESS 3 – Hike & Fly & More
Compact & light
“What, there's a paraglider in there?” The compact look of the EASINESS 3 makes this a question you will soon get used to. Leg pads and removable EN/LTF-certified airbag protector (with integrated reserve container) seem light and compact, but the whole package is light as well. As harness and rucksack, Advance start at 1.75 kg, and for an additional 500 gms you get a fully protecting airbag protector, including reserve compartment and connection lines.
Modular & functional
The airbag protector, attached by zips and bullet toggles, moulds into the harness shape, and can be easily removed and replaced by a cover. In its transport mode, the quick-change EASINESS 3 is transformed into a proper mountain rucksack with detachable hip strap, helmet net and holders for hiking poles and ice axe.
Double the comfort
Ergonomically-shaped back support and wide shoulder straps provide good rucksack carrying comfort on walk-ups; 3D designed seat shell, long leg pads and perfectly apportioned speed system loading guarantee relaxed and enjoyable flight. Adequate rucksack and back pocket storage and additional pockets for both modes contribute to overall comfort.
Technology & Features

Modern zip-off airbag protector
The EASINESS 3 with mounted EN/LTF-certified airbag protector impresses with a nice and clean silhouette for a Hike & Fly harness. The airbag protector, which is fully integrated can be easily zipped off when needed.

Backside Cover (option)
For those who might want to use their EASINESS 3 without the airbag protector, the Backside Cover can be ordered as an additional option, zipped in place, to protect the zip track.

Enhanced and lengthened leg pads
Thanks to modern 3D methods of harness development the no-seatboard EASINEss 3 fits the pilot's body perfectly in flight. Enhanced and lengthened Legpads, and individually adjustable lower back support guarantee maximum flying comfort. Legpad effectiveness and sophisticated harness geometry also give the reversible harness precise weight-shift response. EASINESS 3 comfort begins on the ground: the legpads allow maximum freedom of movement for takeoff and landing.

Edelrid FORAS carabiner
For the first time, the EASINESS 3has Edelrid FORAS carabiners and anti-twist carabiner securing. What's special? The FORAS opens to the side! This gives the Twistlock Alucarabiner a wide opening space which makes it much easier to clip to the paraglider riser.

Easy Connect System
The Advance EASY CONNECT SYSTEM makes clipping an Advance paraglider to an Advance harness quite straightforward. Make sure that the red and blue lines on the EASINESS 3 support loops agree with the red and blue lines on the paraglider risers. Carabiner locators make sure that the FORAS carabiners remain in place in the harness support loops.

Reserve in the airbag protector
The EASINESS 3 comes with an already mounted LTF certified airbag protector. The reserve compartment is built into the airbag protector. The airbag protector also functions fully when a reserve is not installed. In this case, the reserve compartment is closed by dummy closure cables.

Included soft-speedbar
The EASINESS 3 will be delivered with a Soft-Speedbar. The harness speed system has easy running Ronstan ball-bearing pulleys and comes ready mounted.
Harness features

Rucksack features

Suitability
The EASINESS 3 can be flown with every paraglider, including other brands. There is no restriction.
Training
As well as qualified and experienced paraglider pilots, paragliding students can use the EASINESS 3 during basic training.
Tandem flying
The EASINESS 3 can be used as a tandem passenger harness. It does not have provision for a tandem reserve so is not suitable as tandem pilot harness.
Towing
The EASINESS 3 is suitable for towing by winch,. The tow line link must only be directly attached to the main carabiners by a suitable quick-link.
SIV, Acro & water landings
The EASINESS 3 can be used for SIV safety training. It is not suitable for Acro due to its light materials. Wearing a lifejacket is essential if there is any risk of a water landing. It is recommended that the buckles are unfastened and the harness taken off before getting into the boat.
Reviews
"The Easiness 3 is another impressive product from Advance that feels well balanced and trustworthy in the air and offers a premium yet lightweight backpack on the ground. For hike and fly trips, when combined with a small wing, it’s ideal."
— Flybubble (full review (1))
The Advance Easiness 3 is a very high quality mainstream 'hike and fly' harness... It also provides a myriad of other possibilities... Everything is perfectly well-integrated... you can't really tell that the harness is modular at all. It's really exceptionally well done.
The Easiness 3 is very comfortable, easy to get in and out of, and has balanced, well mannered feedback that inspires confidence. In contrast to most other split-leg harnesses, the Easiness 3 continues to be highly comfortable to fly in very active flying conditions...
It's important to emphasise that the Easiness 3 feels very well behaved to a pilot who usually flies with a seat plated harness all the time. It is therefore a very good way to move across if you have any doubts about flying a harness with no seat plate.
The Easiness 3 should be high on your list if you're looking to hike and fly with lightweight equipment, but without radical solutions to that ambition. It also has a real comfort to it that makes it a good option for long flights. The options also extend to flying mini wings, dune soaring, and other types of flying where a pod harness would actually be an encumbrance.
Like the harness, the Easiness 3 rucksack is top notch.
