The seatboard is an important part for the comfort of seatboarded harnesses. Current Advance seatboarded harnesses are delivered with a lightweight carbon seatboard. The weight of the Advance Carbon Seatboard varies, between around 250g for size S, and around 290g for size L.
The Advance Carbon Seatboard is only compatible with certain Advance harnesses which feature a seatboard. It is not compatible for Advance seatboardless harnesses, or any harnesses by other manufacturers.
In general, seatboards are only compatible with the specific seatborded harnesses they were specifically designed for. Seatboards are not compatible with any seatboardless harnesses.
As a general rule of thumb, carbon seatboards tend to be around 300-500 grams lighter than the equivalent wooden seatboard.
