Vivo 2 - #sunnysoul
Alice was heading to the take-off. She knew the pathway like the back of her hand.
Conditions didn’t look that ideal, the sky was a bit grey, and the wind was very light or cross. Was the streak of bad luck still on? This morning, the cat had woken her up by sitting on her face, her toasts had burned, and Alice had walked in her socks on the wet bathroom floor…what a bad start to the day!
And yet jackdaws cartwheeling above the cliffs were telling another story. And she had her new wing on her back, the Vivo 2! After several sessions of ground-handling that felt so joyful, today, she was eager to fly.
This mid-B glider was a blast. Trouble-free untangling. Pretty colors. Easy take-off. Off we go!
The valley was now in the sun and she glided towards a cliff whose wall shone. Alice started to soar the ridge, drawing figures of eight. The softness of the effort on the brakes and the good communication of the wing allowed her to easily optimize the climb. “Now with my height I can close a 360”. Quiet beeps as she tiptoed around each circle as smoothly as possible.
The rays of the sun caressed her face which lit up with a smile. Her chaotic start of the day was totally behind her. She took the direction of the LZ, pushed the speed-bar, and then made some wingovers. Alice forgot about the cat’s claws, the burnt toasts and the wet socks.
“Thank you Vivo” she whispered then she began to sing “Oh, it’s such a perfect day, I’m glad I spent it with you…”
Vivo 2, enjoy every second.

Flybubble review
"Testing the size small with the Advance Weightless on takeoff, I was immediately struck by the glider's effortless inflation and smooth, progressive launch. Not a hint of a tendency to drop back or surge forward; just a perfect launch—ideal for the class.
Ground handling and kiting: the glider maintained a solid and reassuring presence. The risers proved easy to handle, contributing to a stable posture above the head. As I transitioned into the air, the agility of the Vivo 2 became apparent, offering a delightful balance between playfulness and stability. Some gliders, when agile, tend to be overly rolly or pitch too much, but the Vivo 2 struck a harmonious chord, remaining stable while delivering an agile and enjoyable flight.
Soaring along the ridge, the performance of the Vivo 2 stood out in the busy skies. The Vivo 2's performance during thermal activity was commendable, showcasing a compelling combination of good sink rate, climb rate, and turning ability. Its thermaling prowess made the experience enjoyable and rewarding. Comparing it with other gliders in various conditions, the Vivo 2 consistently held its own, proving to be a reliable performer.
The feedback felt slightly dampened, which, while advantageous for the class in rough air, might lean towards personal preference. Personally, I prefer a glider with a bit more communicative feedback, but the Vivo 2 strikes a well-balanced note for its intended audience. Engaging the speed bar revealed a responsive and effective system, with a smooth and gradual increase in speed. The Vivo 2 maintained a solid feel even with the pulleys fully locked, instilling confidence in pushing against the wind and optimizing speed.
An unusual feature of the Vivo 2 is its inclusion of a full BC system, connecting the B and C risers seamlessly. The design of the BC system, featuring wooden handles of optimal size, adds a touch of elegance. While the pressure on the speed system leans towards the firmer side, it remains well-suited for the class, offering effective control during active flying.
The Vivo 2 showcased its commendable climb rate. The glider's pitch stability and well-behaved nature instilled confidence, providing good feedback for identifying lift sources. In terms of descent techniques, employing big ears proved straightforward, with the splitters easily reachable. The descent rate could be adjusted by pulling in the risers, offering effective control. The speed bar played a crucial role in gliding away from clouds, proving highly effective in combination with big ears.
In conclusion, the Air Design Vivo 2 reveals a glider that excels in its class, offering a harmonious blend of stability, agility, and reliable performance. With its playful handling and solid behavior, the Vivo 2 emerges as a promising choice for pilots seeking a versatile and confidence-inspiring companion in the skies."
