Micro Alti 2 with bluetooth: still the world's smallest vario-altimeter

The Micro Alti 2 is still the world's smallest vario-altimeter, for wrist and riser mounting at just 37mm square! It has the lowest available power consumption for a vario-altimeter, giving over 60 hours of continuous use with a simple 3 button menu.

A completely new design with new sensors and firmware, the Micro Alti 2 gives incredible sensitivity and battery life, scrolling text, humidity, temperature and G-sensors, USB connectivity, clock and timers, loud audio vario and more! The display and battery are easily replaceable and there's even an FM radio in its unbreakable wristwatch sized case! 

Altitude measurement can be down to 10cm over 6000 metres and its ultra sensitive variometer has up to 10mm/s resolution with a wide range of settings. It can display humidity, G-meter and temperature, and has a time clock, stopwatch and timers with battery backup and has USB connectivity.

In additon, the Micro Alti 2 now has an alphanumeric display with scrolling text menus, along with:

• Averager, QNE, QNH pressure and height settings

The Bluetooth Micro Alti 2 now connects with phone apps to bring competition-level flight instrumentation to the world's lightest multifunction vario-altimeter!

Use your Micro Alti as a rapid and accurate data source for your phone or tablet on your flight deck or leg and your Micro Alti on your wrist or riser, providing a high contrast display and the option of responsive vario audio.

Mounting

The Micro Alti 2 can be mounted on your wrist, over a coat sleeve or on your risers, or it can be panel-mounted in sailplane gliders etc.

They supply a hook-and-loop fastener strap that can be cut down as required and adhesive hook-and-loop fastener pads that will stick to most surfaces and can be sewn onto clothing.

Additionally we supply a lanyard which should be fastened through the strap retainer on the rear of the Micro Alti 2 and slipped around your wrist or riser for extra security.

The strap retainer on the back of the Micro Alti 2 can be fixed horizontally or vertically or removed if the Micro Alti 2 is mounted onto a flat surface.

More than the vario

Its versatile altimeter can be set to QNE or QNH or 3 resettable references in metres or feet, or imperial altimeter and metric vario.
Barometric scales include millibars, and mm or inches of mercury and the barometer has a weather trend display, so you can check before you fly!

The vario includes an averaging display and has a weak-lift thermal finder and instant-vario mode, with a loud triple tone system for sink, thermal-finder and lift.

The Micro Alti 2 also displays humidity and temperature and has a G-meter, stop watch and timers and a clock display with battery backup for accurate timekeeping.

There's also a headphone socket with external piezo drive, so you can add an extra piezo sounder to your helmet or paramotor headset.

Many of the displays now have scrolling text to show the selected function as well as max/min recording of all readings.

Connectivity is provided via USB-C and there's even a scanning FM radio with 10 memories!

The case is virtually unbreakable nylon and the Micro Alti 2 now has a user-replaceable LCD screen and battery.

Their new models include riser mounting clips for quick and secure fixing.
