In 2008 Marcel Dettling managed to do a record flight with his Mentor 1. He launched in Fanas (Switzerland) and flew a 223km FAI triangle. This was the biggest FAI triangle with a 1-2 glider at this time. Last week, on April 19th, not less than three Mentor 2 pilots were able to fly bigger FAI triangles.
