Flybubble Paragliding will be co-hosting a brand new free flight event called 'Free Flight Kick Start 2006' with Snowdon Gliders, Gradient, Pro Design, and Digifly based at the Park Farm campsite in Llangattock, centre for many top UK freeflight competitions in the past, near Crickhowell in SE Wales.
Flybubble Paragliding will be co-hosting a brand new free flight event called Free Flight Kick Start 2006 with Snowdon Gliders, Gradient, Pro Design, and Digifly based at the Park Farm campsite in Llangattock, near Crickhowell in SE Wales.
We invite you to come and camp for the weekend on the campsite, have a look at our goods and enjoy the weekend.
The show will be a two-day free flight only event to be held over the weekend of March 25 - 26th 2006 within easy reach of many superb flying sites, some of the best in the UK! Pilots will have the possibility to see and try demo wings and other flying gear and then take them away to go and test-fly in their own time.
The indoors part of the event will be in the evenings after the day's flying, to be held at the Park Farm campsite in Llangattock, near Crickhowell in SE Wales, making this the recommended place for pilots to stay! This apr??s-vol section will give pilots chance to further scrutinise the latest gadgets and equipment, and ask all the ridiculous questions they wish to! If the day turns out not to be flyable, then the indoor part of the event will run during the day too - so there will always be plenty to see and do!
As well as a great excuse for pilots to get together at the beginning of the flying season, catch up with each other, and plan for the season ahead, Flybubble Paragliding and Snowdon Gliders promise some exciting special offers and promotions as an incentive for pilots to attend, so make sure you save space in your diaries for March 25 - 26th and we'll see you there!
We have outline below our idea for the Free Flight Kick Start 2006; what it is intended to be and what it is not intended to be. Hopefully, weather permitting it will be a focus for free-flight pilots to meet up early in the season, see some new gear, try some new gear, buy some new (and bargain) gear, and have a great time!
See you there!

Info
1. Free Flight Kick Start 2006 is emphatically NOT "Telford/NEC On Grass" it is primarily a focus for pilots and respective local Traders, the scale therefore will be nothing like the Telford/Birmingham show which is an AGM, Prize-giving and tradeshow. Kick-start also has a free-flying only focus.
2. Free Flight Kick Start 2006 has NO specific flying element. We will however, be a focus for LOCAL traders who will be carrying on their normal weekend demos and sales with the Kick Start acting as a diary focus and background support. If you want to see and try the limited number of demos we will have you better get in touch with your local dealer.
3. Free Flight Kick Start 2006 is an independent idea and not an open Trade Show or a "Fly In". We especially want to get away from the big show thing.
4. We will not have any power units on display, or for demonstration at Free Flight Kick Start 2006, although we will have brochures and information on some powered paragliding / paramotoring wings and products.
5. The intention is to give an added extra to a NORMAL weekends flying. It is simply an independent sales and promotion event.
6. VERY IMPORTANT!! If you are not a member of the South East Wales Hang Gliding & Paragliding Club (SEWHGPGC) please check the local club's web site to make sure you are up to date on the club rules and any special arrangements for flying and sites. For your convenience, we have included a link to the SE Wales Open Sites Guide on the SEWHGPGC website below (there are also more Welsh Free Flight links at the bottom of the page)...

And finally, Yes.... We will have some special offers for you. e.g. considering part exchange deals on our ex demo wings which will already be at sale price!
