Flybubble Paragliding on the Winning Team!
We flew in to Santo Domingo airport in the south of 'the DR' and then made our way on to our base, which was in a hotel near Santiago city in the central interior of the island, about an hour from the flying site we would be going to each day.
We were lucky enough to be part of the winning Team (jokingly named "Team Dead Dog" for reasons we won't go into here!) which included: Nancy Elliott and Carlo Borsattino from Flybubble Paragliding; Dag Sundman from Sweden; Chris Hopkins from Australia; and Neil Furmidge from the UK.
The trip was particularly wonderful because, as well as the great holiday and nice flying we had, we flew with new friends from all around the world, made during the week.
