After the great success of our previous trips we will once again be flying near Mount Olympus, mythical Mountain of Gods, and the Aegean Sea. The area is perfect for improving your general flying, thermalling and cross country skills whilst enjoying the Greek hospitality and having an all-round great time!
A trip for all paraglider pilots...
This trip is suitable for a wide variety of paraglider pilots, from low-airtime to intermediate pilots, and above. Low-airtime pilots will be able to improve their all-round flying skills, build-up their general confidence and abilities, and get lots of AIRTIME! Intermediate pilots and above will also be able to hone their thermalling and cross country flying skills, and further expand their XC horizons!
A bit about the flying area...
There are 8 different flying sites covering 15 take-offs for all wind directions. The area is perfect for improving your general flying, thermalling and cross country skills whilst enjoying the Greek hospitality and having an all-round great time!
Tailored paragliding guidance and instruction...
Paragliding 'site and flight' guidance and/or expert instruction will be available from Flybubble Paragliding's highly experienced BHPA instructors during the trip, for those who want it. Flybubble will also be working with local paragliding experts, so we have the best chance to make the most of your trip.
Our base, and the surrounding areas...
We will be based in Platamonas town a small town on the Aegean Sea. The next door villages of Neos Panteleimonas and Panteleimonas are at the foot of the Olympus Mountains about 100 km south of Thessaloniki in Eastern Central Greece. It is a really wonderful location for family to join you; Beach, mountains and historic, there is lots to see and do. During previous trips in October pilots were happily swimming in the sea!
