Peter Kleimann flies 210km with his Mentor 2 (04.04.2011)

Peter flew a 210km triangle with an average speed of 31km/h

Peter Kleimann managed to fly 210km from Riederalp, his favourite launch site in Wallis / Switzerland. He took the lead in several rankings of XContest with this flight.

To fly a 210km triangle that early in the year is extraordinary. To do that with an average speed of more than 31km/h is sensational.

Since the launch of XContest in 2007 only three pilots in Europe were able to fly at least as far as Peter and to also fly faster than 31km/h. All three of them flew open class competition gliders.

Peter showed, that it's possible to fly such speeds even with the safety and the comfort, the Mentor 2 offers.

Congratulations to this outstanding flight!
