Greg was testing the EPSILON 9 and Carlo added a curveball: why not review the wing using three different harnesses from Advance, to compare the feeling? We test the Easiness 2, Success 4 and Lightness 3 to identify the best match.
The connection between the V-lines and the reserve on all EASINESS and EASINESS 2 reversible harnesses must be changed at the next opportunity. A replacement connection line can be obtained from ADVANCE free of charge from Advance. A routine spot check has revealed that the connection may not be strong enough. Other harnesses conform to their specifications and are not affected.
Dave Southern reports on the hike-and-fly combination of Advance PI 2 and EASINESS 2 (Skywings Magazine, January 2017). "The Pi 2 27 and Easiness 2 ‘security configuration’ are an excellent combination which should pass unnoticed by the most eagle-eyed flight desk attendant and go into the overhead lockers for air travel. All of your kit, including an ultralight reserve, could weigh less than 7kg and you’d still have a glider that is capable of good, safe XCs."
