Triangle Attempt!

The 'usual' things to do from Bo Peep hill are to: Either go for a quick 'flop over the back' towards Newhaven, which means you run out of land very quickly (around 10km); Go cross downwind towards Lewes and Brighton, hoping to be able to continue towards Chichester and beyond (the furthest flight I have managed so far is to near Chichester, at around 76km), or ; Try a triangle flight out in front of the hill, usually using Arlington reservoir as a turnpoint. Instead of doing these 'usual' things, I pushed cross upwind in an East South Easterly direction, towards Beachy Head, which is not a usual thing to do - especially not on a paraglider!
My idea was to push all the way to near Beachy Head / Birling Gap, connect with the Sea Breeze convergence, which I could see clearly still over Beachy Head at that time (see photo above), then push North towards Eastbourne, around the cluster of hills that way, riding the Sea Breeze Front to push upwind, then, as the Sea Breeze pushed further inland (as it generally does), follow it back to Bo Peep for a nice 'triangle' cross country flight.
