What's included & the cost?

The following is included in the cost of this trip:

  • Expert paragliding instruction, thermalling coaching and cross country guidance from the Flybubble team, working together with local experts

  • Expert 'site and flight' guidance from the Flybubble team & local experts

  • Weather, local area and flight information from local paragliding experts

  • Airport transfers from/to local airport to/from accommodation

  • Shared self-catering accommodation

  • Transport to/from take-offs/landing fields

  • XC retrieves


Trip dates, durations and costs
We're running two weeks' worth of trips starting from Saturday 20th October 2012:

  • First week: Saturday 20th October to Saturday 27th October 2012
    Duration: 7 days, 7 nights, 6 possible days of flying Sunday through to Friday. Cost: £700

  • Second week: Saturday 27th October to Sunday 4th November 2012
    Duration: 8 days, 8 nights, 8 possible days of flying Sunday through to Sunday.
    Cost: £800

  • Both weeks: Saturday 20th October to Sunday 4th November 2012
    Duration: 15 days, 15 nights; 14 possible days of flying.
    Cost: £1500


Saturday 27th October will be the changeover day.
You can book the first, second or both weeks.

Accommodation

We will be staying in nice, modern apartments in a small, charming Spanish town - one of the famous "Pueblos Blancos", the enchanting White Villages of Andalucia. These have air conditioning and heating, and a shared living room and kitchen. There is a big terrace, with a lovely view of the town and the mountains. Each apartment has 3 rooms: 2 double rooms, with two single beds and a shared bathroom outside; and 1 room with a double bed with private bathroom. Included in the price is a shared double room and shared bathroom. There would be an extra cost to have a single room with shared bathroom, and a bit more for a single en-suite room (with private bathroom), if available. If you have any special requirements, let us know and we will see what we can do!

What isn't included in the price of the trip?
Anything not listed as being included in the price, isn't included! For example, the following things aren't included: Airline flights; alternative activities; meals.

Airline flights & airport transfers
Once we have received deposits from the minimum number of pilots required for the trip to go ahead then we will try to find the best price for flights for each trip and then individuals pay for these directly themselves.

We fly London Gatwick to Malaga and usually with Easyjet; flights are around £150-£200 return for an adult fare including 20Kg normal luggage allowance. If you can find cheaper (for the right dates and airports) then let us know!

Airport transfers included in the cost will only be at designated times on the designated arrival and departure days. If you book flights that do not fit in with the main group then you will have to make your own arrangements for airport transfers.

It's best if everyone is on the same flight, but we understand that this isn't always possible, especially as people may be travelling from different places. To minimize unnecessary delays for the airport transfer on the way out (i.e. outbound flight), you must book your flight to be at the arrival airport at the same time or earlier than the main group's flight. On the way back (i.e. return flight) you must ensure that your flight is at the same time or later than the main group's flight.
